Second Wave of Feminism
Beginning in the 1960s and continuing into the 90s, this wave unfolded amidst the vietnam war and civil rights movement, under the self-consciousness of minority groups around the world.

This wave concerned sexuality and reproductive rights. The second wave was much more radical than the first, but because it was among so many other movements, it was often shoved aside. Women of this wave initiated efforts to diminish society of sexism.
